Static pages and native navigation

The library displays its complete set of titles and descriptions. Chapter links and the reader directory move to visible sections using ordinary browser anchors. There is no search submission, filtering request, account, intake form, calculator or export feature in these pages.

Opening a page or an external source still makes a normal request to that destination. Native fragment navigation may update the address and browser history even though it does not submit an answer.

Text size belongs to the current page state

The Larger text control changes the displayed reading size from 22 to 26 pixels and can switch it back. That preference is held in page memory and reflected in the document; the control does not save it in a cookie or browser storage. Reloading starts with the standard size.

This describes the reading control, not every service involved in delivering a page. It does not mean browsing is anonymous or that the browser and host keep no records.

Hosting and external destinations

A browser or hosting service may retain ordinary technical records such as requested addresses, request times, network information and errors. Browser history, cached files, extensions and device settings are separate from the publication’s text-size control.

Manufacturer pages, source websites and the CoreAge offer operate under their own practices. The commercial offer URL includes page-attribution parameters. Information provided after leaving this publication is handled by the destination; the publication’s fixed reader does not process it.
